Autumn Blaze Maple is an outstanding and very popular red maple that puts on an amazing fall display of color. It is an upright, fast-growing, deciduous shade tree that can grow 40 to 50 feet tall with ascending branching and a dense, broad-oval crown.
The foliage turns into a gorgeous autumn blaze of orange-red to scarlet-red fall color. It is very tolerant of dry or wet soil conditions, and is relatively disease resistant. Autumn Blaze Maples are one of the most desired Red Maple cultivars, but can be hard-to-find especially later in summer.
