Autumn Fantasy Maple is one of our top favorite trees, and is an outstanding shade tree that is a Red and Silver Maple hybrid bringing the best qualities of both trees. The young leaves emerge with a reddish tint that turn to rich green. The fall color is an exceptionally beautiful ruby red that persists until the first hard frost. It is very drought tolerant, and makes an excellent fast growing street or lawn tree. This is an excellent landscape specimen.

It is a hard-to-find tree, and is also valuable as a wildlife tree because it attracts songbirds. It is also called June Berry, and has become one of our favorites.

It is a much loved tree with great historic interest, and has strong winter and all season appeal. The Sycamore tree is a large beautiful fast growing shade tree commonly seen along stream banks and in low areas. It does need regular moisture to establish itself. American Sycamore trees are often grown in tree lines to create impressive lines of the majestic trees. This year's crop is growing very straight and are quite amazing. Shade Trees
Dawn Redwood is a magnificent deciduous tree. It has gorgeous soft green needles, and is a fantastic and inspiring tree to see and grow. Dawn Redwood is a magnificent deciduous tree, and is a relative of the California redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) and giant sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum), diverging around 150 million years ago. Dawn redwood prefers a wetter environment to grow, and it needs full sun to grow its best when it is a larger tree. We start these as 'understory' trees and they love the high open canopy above them giving the good indirect light. It does best in moist to wet soils, so it can be a good choice for large rain garden locations. As with all trees a good organic planting location would be ideal for these trees.

The white oak is a stately native American tree that is an impressive tree for the larger landscape or estate. They are slower growing, but are a stately tree, and valuable native tree.
Flowering Trees
Henry Hicks Magnolia is a smaller pyramidal shaped semi-evergreen magnolia that is unique and hard-to-find. This specimen can grow eventually to 20' and has a more dense leaf foliage throughout its pyramidal shape even through winter. It can selectively be placed as a decorative privacy tree.
