The Australis is fast growing and surprisingly performs well in both full sun and full shade. They will grow up to 15 – 20 feet tall, or even higher in a great environment.
The Australis is deer resistant and has few disease or insect issues. It capably handles diverse soil conditions including wet soils. We have been growing this specimen in quantity to form hedges, or privacy walls that can also be planted with other tree varieties to offer some variety. This tree has many positive characteristics that make it a high desirable specimen for many situations.
